Frequently Asked Questions

You’ve Got Questions, We’ve Got Sweat... and Answers!

1. What is Hot Pilates, anyway?

It’s a spicy blend of low-impact Pilates moves, strength training, and cardio—done in a heated room (up to 100°F) with good music and all the vibes. Think sculpt, sweat, and serious glow.

2. Do I need experience to take class?

Nope! Whether you’re a Pilates pro or it’s your first time on the mat, you’re welcome here. We offer modifications and encourage everyone to move at their own pace.

3. How hot are we talkin’?

Hot classes are up to 100°F, aka just-right to get sweaty. Our warm classes are 85°F are enough to loosen muscles, boost your heart rate, and glow like a goddess—but not sauna-level intense.

4. What should I bring?

Water (lots), a towel (trust us), and grip socks or barefoot. You’ll also need a mat—we’ve got rentals if you forget. We sell water and towels as well.

5. What should I wear?

Breathable workout gear. Think: tanks, crops, leggings, biker shorts. It’s hot—dress like you’re ready to slay and sweat. (And just a tip - check your labels for cotton and viscose bamboo as they’re the most breathable materials.)

6. Grip socks… really?

Yep—really. You can choose to go barefoot but things do get slippery! We have some cute ones at the desk if you need!

7. Can I shower after class?

We don’t have showers, but we do have enclosed changing areas, restrooms, and refreshing wipes to get you glowing and going.

8. What’s your cancellation policy?

Cancel at least 12 hours before class to avoid a fee or losing your credit. Late cancels and no-shows = sadness (and a fee).

9. Can I just drop in?

You can, but spots fill up fast. We have a drop-in rate. Booking ahead is your best bet to snag a mat and avoid FOMO.

10. Is there an age limit?

Yes—16 and up only. If you’re under 18, you’ll need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver. Grown-up glow only.

11. What’s the vibe on scents?

Keep it fresh, not fragrant. No strong perfumes, smoke, or cannabis smells in the studio—remember, the heat turns everything up.

12. Can I take class while pregnant?

Congrats, mama! But we don’t recommend hot Pilates during pregnancy—it’s not ideal for your body or baby. Always check with your doctor before doing any workouts during this time. There are many contraindications for extreme heat and it’s imperative that you clear any health issues with your doctor first.

13. Where do I put my stuff?

Toss your stuff in a cubby or locker while you get your glow on. Just keep valuables to a minimum—less to carry, more to sweat. Our receptionist may be present but he/she cannot monitor individual client items. We are not responsible for valuables brought into our space.

Chargeback & Dispute Abuse Policy

To protect our studio, instructors, and community, we maintain a strict policy regarding chargebacks and payment disputes.

By booking a class, private session, or any service at That’s Hot Pilates, clients acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • All class reservations are subject to our posted cancellation and no-show policy.

  • A no-show or late cancellation constitutes a forfeited service, as the reserved spot is held exclusively for the client and cannot be rebooked.

  • Disputing a valid charge for a no-show, late cancellation, or otherwise policy-compliant transaction by claiming that “services were not rendered” is considered chargeback abuse.

Chargebacks result in significant administrative costs and fees to our business. As such:

  • Any client who initiates a chargeback for a valid, policy-compliant charge may have their account immediately suspended or permanently terminated, at the sole discretion of the studio.

  • Terminated accounts will no longer be permitted to book or attend classes, purchase services, or participate in studio offerings.

  • The studio reserves the right to decline future service to any client engaging in dispute abuse, regardless of outcome.

We encourage clients to contact us directly with any billing questions or concerns prior to disputing a charge. We are always happy to clarify policies and resolve legitimate issues—but misuse of the chargeback process will not be tolerated.
